ACADEMY34 — Blaze Story Update — PUBLIC Release
As we said, taking a forced hiatus while our programmer has been lying sick allowed us to work quite far ahead when it comes to writing a story and making art. Now we want to use all that freshly made content to keep a steady stream of releases, because otherwise we feel like keeping your pledge isn't really worth it. Hopefully, that is about to change for good.
So here it is, our first story-focused update, that is going to kick start Blaze's route and introduce her as new romanceable character. As you all know, we are kind of serious about making storylines, that you can actually get invested in, but that takes a lot of setting up. So we thought, why don't we make these "setups", filled mostly with dialogue and character-building into their separate updates? Their development is far less time-consuming, and would allow us to expand stories in so many more interesting ways! You will get more updates per month, and our writer will finally fulfil his desire to write so much cutesy romantic stuff, that the world will collapse under its weight. Win-win!
Without further ado, Blaze! A person, driven solely by the power of sugar and pure hatred towards sitting at the same place for over a minute. Enjoy!
HOW TO ACCESS NEW ROUTE:
To trigger Blaze's route, you need to exhaust every possible dialogue option with the group she's sitting in the Library in. The dialogue resets every day, so it might take a few days of talking to them to get to it.

Today, I found myself playing this game out of pure curiosity and perhaps horny. Surprisingly, I became deeply engrossed, not for the sex boobs and dicks, but because of one character: Sombra, renamed as Reina. It's astonishing how her story mirrored mine, genuinely copying my entire life's journey. I even thought about learning Overwatch lore because of this game. Never before have I felt so invested in a game, finding genuine relatability and enjoyment beyond its erotic aspects. It's almost surreal how this virtual representation resonates with my own experiences, prompting me to reflect on my life in ways I never anticipated. Despite the unlikely setting, I found solace and amusement, even if temporary. I wanted to thank the writers and the creators personally. You all genuinely made my day. Fuck I'll say y'all made my life better? I went onto a rant to alot of my friends about the game which they didint really get but god must I thank you for this. It has brought actual sincere joy. Thank you. Genuinely. Wholeheartedly.♥

When we hit a certain point in development, we realized that we would like to do something more with our art and abilities, than horny-baiting people for money. That's how we came to writing stories based on our own experiences, or things that we genuinely wanted to discuss. There's nothing that puts bigger smile on my face, than knowing that our efforts didn't go in vain. It really means a lot!
Thank you for noticing, I believe every creator should have the same level of connection with the audience like you do, Im quite certain that with this mindset you will get big in your creations, Even if not I dont doubt you will gain alot of loyal fans that will love your game as much as I did. It's clear that your dedication and passion shine through in every aspect of your work.
Your game resonated with me on an another level because it felt authentic and genuine. It's refreshing to see creators like you and your team using their talents to explore deeper themes and share personal experiences rather than just chasing trends for profit.
For me it genuinely hit close to heart, Fell right where it needed to and most importantly, made me feel not alone in this type of situations, though saddened i didint yet have the same ending as she did, Im now quite motivated to have something bigger in life,

Hi! It's a problem with saves. Basically, you're using an old save file that is no longer supported, so the best bet would be to start a new game, or use the "skip to new content" function.

We had to change the names for all the characters, and since Ren'Py is very dependant on names, not all saves work with the new versions.

im having trouble finding blaze, i skipped to new content and talked to all 5 dialogue options after getting the book at the door but cant seem to figure out where to go after that? any help?
The book quest is for Mothra. You gotta talk with Sombra, Brigitte and some others and then go back to Mothra. And to start Blaze you have to talk with her then wait a week and talk again.

I did, and played through the entire storyline that's out so far, but never got Blaze in the notebook.

It seems that I may have hit a roadblock. I've exhausted every possible dialogue option but now it just keeps repeating the same one over and over. Can someone assist me, please?
If you haven't gone on a date with Blaze, then it might be a moment where you have to wait a week before new interactions appear. Don't ask why, we just had to code it this way for some very obscure reason no one on our team remembers. But if you already gone on a date with Blaze, then you might have hit the end of her story for now, because this update was a mini-story one, as a bonus along Mothra's update released same month.
Y@N, I love you guys and all, but ya need to stop with the Malbolge coding. You guys are more cryptic than Mothra sometimes. Thanks for the info tho. Hope you guys know we all really appreciateyou guys and your work
Soooo... I have waited a total of 9 weeks and they seem to be stuck worrying about the upcoming exams... I haven't even had to proposition to go on a date with Blaze yet. Am I missing something or is there a bug?
