ACADEMY34 is a heavily story-driven erotic visual novel, the game, which brings whole new meaning to the word "wholesome".
While the market of similarly explicit games is oversaturated with stories, where the main protagonist is a rather unlikable individual, we took a vastly different approach, carefully crafting the world in which you will be able to get invested into the story and characters, help them overcome their personal problems, craft a healthy relationship built on understanding and trust, and then get invited into their bed, instead of forcing your way in.
If you think that sounds a bit too vanilla for your liking, you might be pleasantly surprised once you play it.
In ACADEMY34 you are taking on a role of a freshman cadet, who had just enrolled into the prestigious Sentinel Academy, a place, where young people train to become Agents, dedicating their lives to protecting the world from the terror and, basically, just bad things in general. In reality, no matter how pompous this place is trying to appear, it is still a yet another rich school, filled with hundreds of young adults trying to figure out their place in life. The moment you made your first step on the grounds of this Academy, you realized that maybe you are not ready to become an agent just yet. The idea of dedicating your life sounded so heroic, but now there's a strange lingering thought inside your mind — You want to experience that absurd and chaotic student life. You really do. Though, not like it depends on your choice, as misadventures have already begun!
- Experience the absolute disarray of being a student, find new friends and partners, get intimate and accidentally discover a reason why that one cute girl in particular had a leash, but no pets in sight.
- Get involved into drama, become a personal therapist for an unhinged hacker girl, make her fall in love with you and commit a federal crime in the name of love.

ACADEMY34 is totally free, but just as with other similar projects ACADEMY34 features early access to new updates for Patrons, but eventually, usually in around a month after initial release, all of those updates get a public release. You don't have to pay a dime to enjoy our game, but if you want to support us, it would help immensely!

To get it, go in the classroom after class and point it at the corner of the table closest to the door. Afterwards you will be caught my Brig(Freja) but won't be punished.

I'm facing a problem with the character models. In the begining of Zahera's quest I get many Missing Image warnings. Is it normal or did I not properly install something?

At the start… I take the hat from the bed then I go to the cell phone… then that error appears
Did you use an old save or did you do a fresh start? Can you by any chance share your save file (Upload it on mega or some other cloud service), so we could take a closer look at it.
Cipheos (our programmer) also asks if you could write what exactly you did when you started (if you started a new game without a save) — like where you went or what you clicked.

I used a new save… but I didn’t Save.
I cannot seem to replicate the error, but here is what i did:
After finishing the intro and meeting Clyde… I clicked on the hat and then opened the phone That’s when that error appears.

I had no older saves (they were manually deleted), and can reproduce the error rather reliably:
From some quick websearch it seems that Ren’Py is trying to remove an element that doesn’t exist yet. If that’s correct odds are that this bug only triggers at the start.

As of right now, our game features only male MC. We are considering a potential of adding a proper female lead, but that would require a lot of time investment on our end, since the majority of stories are written in a way, that would make it impossible to simply swap MC's gender. Still, we might return to this idea once we get more time on our hands.

Do you have the x-ray app on your phone? You have to complete the x-ray quest from Reina (Sombra).
So I completed all the storylines for Reina and Ava but I havent gotten the update to look at Reina to X-Ray. I did wait out more than a week to see if I got the update

I can't access the Amelie or Aurelie content and it's stuck on "Survive week one: Attend all classes" step. I'm wondering if I have to do the homework for money weekend action or is there any other way to access this route?

You have to visit all classes during the week, do Sonya's homework and hangout with Clyde on weekends for this task to finish.
Sorry for not being more specific in the phone log, we will address this issue in the future updates, adding more hints on how to proceed with that task!
So you have to go through the week, have to go to class and you dont have to do anythin after just go to sleep and then hang out with clyde. If that does't work just brute force it until it does. I eventually got it

So great, it's like watching romcom series or anime, with great erotic artworks, I played it few times (older versions) but in this update I really felt how great this game is, especially funny parts the jokes and funny artworks love it, hope to see more content soon and I hope we get Kamhila in the harem too 😉, btw do you get idea of Academy34 from rule34 site?

Hi, today i installed the game on mobile after many updates. I played a bit and than saved the game, now when I try to open the saved file the game crashes to my home screen, I don't know what to do.
Hi! Did you by any chance use an old save from the old version?
After the name change in July 2023 Academy34 has a really hard time with old saves, so they cause a lot of problems. So if that was your case, we suggest you to do a clean install and start a new game.
We tried our best developing a migration system for saves, but it's not working 100% of the time.

Can I get a recap of how you meet Luca cause I already finished widows storyline and don't want to go back to an old save to do it again
Luca was being abused by widows boyfriend (I can't remember their name) and spoke up about the abuse to get them kicked out.
When I first played this game, back in version 13, I didn't expect it to be of any real quality, due to the other erotic visual novels I had tried. I, as such, gave my character a goofy name (tf2 elevator music, and when i played i listened to said music on loop). I would then come to discover that this game is actually fucking peak. Now, version 20, I have to start new due to my old saves not carrying correctly. I have named my character the exact same thing, and am listening to the music as this is written. Good game, 10/10, stars.
The fact you're forklift certified makes this even better.

I definitely remember that I saw information somewhere that after finishing the main storylines, you plan to translate the game into other languages. Is it so and for which ones? And I reeeeally hope that it won't be in years, because this game is very cool and I want to understand what was said not in general, but completely😂

Technically, we already fixed that in the updated Doctor's Office / Infirmary backgrounds, but they will be added into the game along with the Overhaul update a little later.
No problem. It's one of those issues that only comes up when someone important notices, but I've seen a couple games that had to be pulled until they fixed it and it's very disruptive for everyone.

how do i clear the saves and memory i tried deleting old saves to help the game run better but they are still there
Saves are located at:
"C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\ACADEMY34-v0.2.3"
Delete the files in there, and you should be good to go!

I'm having trouble getting it to open. I downloaded the free file and unzipped it. Is it supposed to have only one file in it, or are there supposed to be more?
Depends on what platform you're playing.
If on Windows — the zip file should contain a folder with an .exe file in it, along with few other folders and engine files. Also make sure that your anti-virus (McAfee especially) is not flagging the zip file as dangerous, because they tend to do that with RenPy games.
If on Android — it's indeed only one .apk file that will let you install the game on your phone.
On Mac it's an .app file and on Linux it's tar.bz2 archive.
Make sure you download the correct version that suits your platform.

Right now we don't have plans for translation, but perhaps after an overhaul update we could take a look into this, since the game will be at least more stable.
For both Freya and Luca content, i keep getting rollback errors anytime they speak. I had to skip almost all of their messages bc of it

Seriously the shy inexperienced nerdy but "sexy" character is litterally been done to death to the point it's a fetish/porn category, this is the type of character that gay men either hate or sexualize to hell. This is why gay men end up hating on femboys/fem presenting men, bc you boil them down into fetish stereotypical bullshit. And it fuckin sucks I feel bad for twinks and fems bc they get unnecessary hate bc of shitty stereotypes that get perpetuated
It's a shame that you feel this way about Luca, but ironically enough, this character was created in collaboration with our writer's queer friends, who proofread the entire story and provided a metric ton of feedback to make him exactly the kind of character they vibe with, while also sticking to his original concept. It's a borderline self-insert, considering how many traits from them Luca inherited.
While you might have a point, this is an NSFW game, which by definition is built around fetishization of certain stereotypes. You could say the same about any MILF routes that they feteshize the middle-aged women, and won't be wrong. You are supposed to be equally as aroused, as you are engaged in their story.
The fact that Luca was the first male-on-male route we added didn't affect our plans to implement cowboy's story, it was simply a safe bet to check the waters of how many people in our community would be interested in playing this type of content.
Saying that the "gay character we added is the wrong type of gay" is pretty homophobic by the way.
Is there a chance that player will have an option to change Luca's genitalia to female genitalias?
