hey im on mac and trying to transfer my game files from my old laptop to my new, copy pasted the game onto a hardrive and then downloaded that same file onto my new computer, but my old save files are not there. any advice? im assuming the files might be saved in a different place on my old mac but im not sure :/

On Mac saves should be located in ~/Library/RenPy/
There will be a folder with Academy34 in the name - that's where the saves and the gallery data is located.

its in the game you just have to keep playing through, tho there is a bug where if you do certain actions before others then it just never unlocks
you might just have to restart or go back to a much earlier stage
