I take it that female characters will be the only focus right? Like you cant even x-ray the male characters and clyde (cassidy) was said to be given some content forever ago yet new characters are added and characters who already existed were given even more

We already announced the inclusion of male datable characters, but before starting any more new routes, we wanted to fixing currently ongoing ones.
In fact, we are adding the first femboy character, who will get their own storyline relatively soon in today's update. And Clyde (new Cassidy's name in our game) will be getting his own route as soon as we get more free time on our hands.
You will also be able to X-Ray all guys around the academy after the locations update, which we are currently working on.
Considering the amount of dialogues in the game at the moment, going through each line manually would have taken ages, but we did our best at pinpointing these problems before release. Some sill slipped through though.

also i do have another problem like ive seen someone before in which i keep attending literature but the task menu for kamilah isnt progressing. i've finished everything else (which is crazy to me bc its such a well thought out game that actually made me smile and chuckle at some points and i also only got it very recently). idk what it is that this one route isnt progressing at all and ive tried for at least an hour 💀
do you guys plan on animating the scenes more in the future? no rush im just wondering because dont get me wrong i LOVE the game and its still in development meaning i wouldnt be expecting it anytime soon, but i am just wondering because for me personally dynamics are more stimulatic than static photos. Hi. I just downloaded the newest update and found my progress was no where to he found. Idk if I downloaded it wrong cuz on previous occasions when I deleted and redownloaded the game with each new update, my progress remained, but this time its all gone. Is there a way to find it? Thanks.

The main building, the library, and the infirmary will not unlock no matter what I try. Its gotten to the point where I can't progress many of the routes anymore. I also can't go to the Monday class anymore because I can't get the stuff from the infirmary. Any insight from anyone?
Yep. I've gotten dialogue about getting books from the library as well as told to go to the infirmary by Zarya. After the second time I drank with McCree I also got dialogue about going back to Mercy for another pill even though I never went to her in the first place.
Our game already has a "skin" feature for scenes, but we are looking into expanding it to the sprites too. It might take a little while though, so we won't promise that it'll come soon.
im having a visual glitch in the new update. if i go to the fountain it looks like this even if im not in the x ray mode i started a new game and it still did it eventhough i havent unlovked x ray
I'm having an issue with the x-ray feature. when i fist unlocked the x-ray feature was rather large, but now for some reason when i activate the x-ray it is barely bigger than my cursor.
It's because of the name change. RenPy, the engine we use, didn't handle that part well, and we are still working on ensuring that it won't happen again. Sadly, I'm not certain that we can restore already missing pieces from the gallery, but you can always use Konami Code in the main menu to unlock all of the pictures and scenes.

Question, why is Sombra/Olivia refered to as reina, is it like a cover name or do guys not know her name, same with other agent names like tracer, mercy etc, they don't bug me as much as there the codes names that they are referred to in game, but idon't understand the name change with Sombra, ya could of just left her name as it was.

Is this a windows issue or something because it's been happening with ever game that involves renpy
Considering no renpy game works on your pc, there could be an issue with either your Windows or with your software/drivers.
Maybe you have 32bit windows and trying to launch a 64bit exe-launcher. Maybe you have a Windows XP and Ren'Py just doesn't support your OS anymore. Maybe you don't have OpenGL and DirectX installed. Maybe the folder you are launching the game from has some read-only restrictions on it. Maybe your antivirus blocks the launch of Ren'Py for whatever reason.
The things above are the first that came to mind, so it's likely your issue isn't present there, but it's worth a try.

So two things, 1 Im not able to talk to symmetra, whenever I do her side of the coversation is just errors and 2, after reopening the game all my gallery scenes were gone except for the ones from the first week. But all my saves are intact at least
Upcoming public release, planned for the next week, includes fixes to all of those problems. Though I'm not sure whether it will restore the gallery, just make sure it won't get lost again (hopefully). Sorry about the inconvenience it caused, we'll do our best to avoid similar issues in the future.
We are investigating this problem and doing our best to ensure the compatibility of saves, but not gonna lie, it's a huge pain to do with the engine we are using, because it really doesn't like when any changes are made to the existing content, even if it's just a name.
Though thankfully, it won't be a problem in the future as we are not planning any more changes to existing names. The only time you should expect lack of save compatibility is when we release the overhaul update, which will redo like a third of the game (coming sometime this Winter), but it also coming with lots of major changes to the early stages of the game, so replaying is advised anyway.

Might just be buged on my end but i cant find the sombra scenes in the gallery even when I restart the game and skip to last update they don't appear any way to fix this.?

How do you unlock the ability to use the x-ray on Sombra? I remember eventually unlocking this feature in one of the older versions of the game, but now in a newer version I can't do it anymore, even after finishing her storyline. (I'm on version 0.16.1.2)
I'm a total overwatch casual, so with some of these characters, I have no damn clue whether or not they're based on OW characters or not. Are Andre and Mothra OCs? Or are they based on some obscure post-launch Heros or side characters?
Andre and Mothra are OCs, as well as some other background characters. We originally created them to fill the locations up and make them feel more lively, but then turned out a lot of our players wanted to see content with them, so we added few routes.

Yea, we made this new background before we started redesigns and rebranding. We will swap it to the new Academy logo before adding it into the game.

Library unlock by attending classes, and Infirmary unlocks by drinking with McCree on weekends. Did you do both of those things?

Reina is her code name, and she prefers it over her real name.
Since the name change we no longer use Overwatch names, so Tracer (Lena Oxton) is now Sonya Park, and Mercy (Angela Ziegler) is now Seraphina Fevez.
And Sombra is now Reina.

Are you using a save from the previous version of the game? Because there could be some bugs due to the name changes. It's better to start over.

i see that x-ray phone picture, i really like it lol, does it happen often in the game?
Most of the characters have x-ray versions, just don't forget to click on them when you use x-ray to get the full picture!

This seems to be a bug, and we are already investigating the possible cause for this issue. We'll try to patch it asap
