It is safe to download, otherwise you'd see a lot more complains in the comment section. Regarding your problem on Gamecore, sadly we won't be able to help, because that seems to be the problem on their end, and since we don't officially support that version, we have no way of fixing it. You can try and contact their support, but that's all I can suggest in this situation :(
It's just an APK file that you download and you need to install it, similar to any other APK install. If you downloaded zip file, you probably downloaded the wrong version. In case you have problems installing, you can just google "how to install APK file", that should help. Also, don't forget to "allow install of APK files from unknown sources" in your phone settings!

it keeps saying something about a GL2 not being able to run, has that got something to do with the internals of my pc? i only managed to get my pc running games and stuff like 2 months ago so i dont know what to do
We don't have built-in updater (yet), so for now you'd have to re-download the game. Though we are considering adding it, since we finally upgraded our servers and can actually do something interesting with them, previously we've been a little limited in this regard.
That's a hard question to answer, because we would like to be able to implement proper storylines for each and every OW character there is, but it's gonna take some time. Gladly, working has been much easier recently, since we moved out of warzone, so I'm hopeful that it'll take less time than we expect.
Not in the next update, no. It will be solely dedicated to Widow, with a big addition to her story. Sadly, we don't have an artist-power to work on multiple characters at the same time, unless we cut the sizes of updates each character gets per patch.

Right click on the game or save folder, select "Properties" and there, at the bottom you'll see "Read-only" option. Try to disable it and see if it helps.
Hello, I'm having an issue right now. Whenever it asks me for my name it doesnt allow me to enter so I'm just stuck there. I am using an android. For more precise information, the location where the enter key is supposed to be turns into a return key.
That's a new one. I assume your on-screen keyboard just doesn't appear? As far as I know it should allow you to use default name if you just click through it, but I might double-check it. Thanks for the report!

My favorite part about this game was thinking I could date Mccree, realizing you couldn't, then making my character miss all his classes and cause a story line glitch.
Next update coming November 22 and it will feature a lot of new content with McCree, even thought it's Widow's route. As of right now, you cannot date any dudes, but that's something that we'll fix later!
Have you done anything specific to cause the game to crash? Like, saving, using X-Ray, or anything like that? We're looking into problem, but there's simply not enough data to pinpoint the reason it crashes. We'll try anyway.

If you're on PC or Android, your saves should automatically transfer when you install new version. You don't need to do anything.

i think figured out the problem, pretty sure its the graphics card, pcs from 2009 tend to have pretty low power graphic cards i guess

You have to redownload it. Saves are stored separately, so when you reinstall the game, they will still be available.

i get that glitch where it crashes every 5-10 minutes as well, it happens on my pc on windows
