We've been working on solving this issue for the past month, but it's next to impossible to pinpoint what exactly is causing it. If you can, could you share your save files? Also, can you specify what platform are you playing on?

If you are on android just install the .apk as an update. It should do it automatically if you already a game installed.
On windows just run the new version (your saves are in the appdata folder). If you are cautious your saves will get lost, you can just copy them from the [game] folder in old version to the [game] folder in new version.
I tryed to copy and past the saves folder from the game folders and it doesnt show my saves, please help me with this, i want to play the widow part 2 already

I love the in-depth story that Young and Naughty have come up for Widow and I can't wait for more content. Everytime I save and load it, it loads up homeless Sombra. The day does to the day it was where I originally saved it but It will always go back to Sombra and I have to restart. How do I fix this?

Hm, that's the first time we hear about it happening on PC version. Knowing that this bug is not exclusive to Android version might help to pin point the cause.
In the ACADEMY34 folder there is a [game] folder — inside there is [saves], all your saves should be there.
Just upload the save on dropbox or mega and send us the link!
Also to fix the issue you could try removing the checkmark on the [academy34] folder on the "Read-only" parameter (no guarantee it will solve anything):

There is no such function as of now on Android.
